What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit anatolo.nl, anatolo.de or anatolo.com. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, local storage and server-side tracking, all referred to here as “cookies”. Legal basis: Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act and the GDPR.

On your first visit, our banner requests consent for non-essential cookies. You may accept all, choose only necessary cookies or select categories. Without consent, we use only necessary cookies. You may change or withdraw your choice through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page. We retain your choice for 12 months, then ask again.
1. Necessary cookies — always active
These are needed for the shop to function and do not require consent.
Shopify: basket, checkout, account login, language and country choice, and abuse prevention, including _shopify_s, _shopify_y, cart, secure_customer_sig and localization. Retention: session to a maximum of 1 year.
Cookie preferences: remembering your choice ([CONSENT-APP]). Retention: 12 months.
Payment providers (Shopify Payments/Stripe, PayPal and Klarna): fraud prevention and checkout security. Retention: session to a maximum of 1 year.
2. Analytics cookies — with consent
Shopify Analytics: statistics on visitor numbers, page views and conversion within our shop. Processor: Shopify International Limited, Ireland. Retention: up to 1 year.
Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*): website analysis including page visits, time on site, device and approximate location based on a shortened IP address. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Cookie retention: up to 2 years; Google data retention: 14 months.
3. Marketing cookies — with consent
Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc) and Meta Conversions API: measuring conversions from Facebook and Instagram ads, building audiences and showing relevant ads through remarketing. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Retention: up to 3 months. Details: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Google Ads (_gcl_au, IDE, test_cookie and others): conversion measurement and remarketing for Google Search, Google Shopping and YouTube. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Retention: up to 13 months. Details: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. We use Google Consent Mode, with no advertising cookies placed without consent.
Shopify Email / marketing attribution: measuring visits from our newsletters and campaigns. Retention: up to 1 year.
Third-party cookies and transfers
Analytics and marketing cookies are placed by third parties, which may also use data for their own purposes. Google and Meta may transfer data to the USA; both are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Our privacy policy explains processing and your rights.
Removing cookies in your browser
You may delete or block cookies in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge settings. Some shop functions may then stop working properly.
